Whether it's the need to personalize products, find new methods to attract and hire new workers or leverage IoT technologies to drive insights, manufacturers face many challenges as they modernize. To best support our customers with their Digital Transformation Journey we have launched a new hub of talents in Bologna (Italy) to serve manufacturing clients throughout Europe. The Avanade Manufacturing Innovation Hub (Manufacturing Center of Excellence) is open to top talent from around the world to a place where everyone can learn from each other and grow skills while collaborating on the best ideas for manufacturing clients.As a Technical Analyst, you will use your knowledge of data engineering and data science to support client deliveries and develop assets for Avanade's Azure practice, including projects focusing on streamlining and automating machine learning activities. You will support the team by contributing to Data & AI solutions using Microsoft Azure PaaS services while leveraging best practices and proven patterns to deliver advanced analytics capabilities.Come join us.This role is open to candidates around the world that are willing to relocate in Bologna (Italy). What you'll do:Experience in applying technical knowledge to design solutions that meet business and IT needs, build analytics solutions and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key analytics and AI technologies where appropriate (e.g. Azure ML, ML Server, BOT framework, Cognitive Services, Big Data, Data Lake, Azure Databricks, etc.)Experience in any other cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Netezza or Oracle is a meritStrong understanding of the value proposition(s) associated with AI, Data, PaaS (ideally Azure PaaS), and DevOps.You have experience with external client facing and project-based consulting.You have experience ensuring that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.Skills and experiences:2+ years of experience using some of the following tools: Power BI, R, Hive, Pig, Python, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Mongo, Cassandra, CosmosDB2+ years of experience working with cloud services, preferably Azure CloudAbout you:2+ years of proven leadership experience in an academic, extra-curricular or professional settingYour education is likely to include MS/Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or equivalent Bachelor's degree with around 1 – 3 years of relevant professional experience.Enjoy your careerSome of the best things about working at Avanade :· Opportunity to work for Microsoft's Global Alliance Partner of the Year (14 years in a row), with exceptional development and training (minimum 80 hours per year for training and paid certifications)· Real-time access to technical and skilled resources globally· Dedicated career advisor to encourage your growth· Engaged and helpful coworkers genuinely interested in youFind out more about some of our benefits here.A great place to workAs you bring your skills and abilities to Avanade, you'll get distinctive experiences, limitless learning, and ambitious growth in return.
