The Country Manger Italy is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and increase market share for all Cepheid products in the region.
The Country Manger Italy develops and maintains business relationships with existing and potential customers to meet commercial objectives.
The Country Manager Italy demonstrates commercial leadership, while functioning in a demanding, action-oriented environment by building and leading a result focused high-performance team.
This position is part of the Commercial Organization and will be located in Milano_.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Achieve and exceed region's monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, strategic objectives, and market share goals.
- Effectively and accurately manage forecasting and pipeline reporting related to revenue, client acquisition, marketing programs.
- Develop and implement business strategies related to sales force performance, data utilization, and information management.
- Team with Regional Marketing, Customer Care and Sales Operations to develop opportunities, drive new revenue, create, and implement entry plans for new markets.
- Build successful, engaged, and diverse teams.
Motivate staff to ensure optimal alignment and performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high-performance.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Master's/Doctoral degree with a** minimum of 12 years of experience on a commercial function.
**
- ** At least 5 years managing people in a commercial environment.
**Strong people management skill and experience in creating and leading high performing teams.
- ** Fluent in English and Italian.
**
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Managing project scope, budget, and schedule to achieve timely completion of project deliverables.
- Negotiating skills and a well-developed cost and quality awareness; building and maintaining relationships with customers and key opinion leaders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in** **a multicultural environment and matrix structure.
