CMCC Position Purchasing Specialist Deadline: August 31st, 2024 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Our Financial and Controlling Department, located in Lecce, is looking for a Purchasing Specialist who will join the Purchase Administration team, focusing on the analysis of purchase requests, preparation of the orders and verification of the invoices.

ROLE The Specialist keeps the system up to date running smoothly by managing the purchasing process, from the analysis of the requests expressed by our scientific and administrative departments to the proper execution of the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES Analysis of purchase requests; Suppliers master data; Creation of purchase order; Supporting the payment process by monitoring the internal process of regular verification of the delivery/service execution; Acceptance/refusal of the Italian invoices after the verification of the documents; Verification and filing of the foreign invoices; Goods receipt; Verification and filing of the transport documents and reports; Capital goods: creation master data and check of depreciation calculation; Continuous contact with suppliers, scientific and administrative departments.
REQUIREMENTS High school in accounting or bachelor's degree in business administration or similar; Minimum of two years of proven experience in similar role; Previous experience in public administration would be an advantage; Ability to relate at different levels, from operative profiles to top management; Excellent relational and communication skills; Time management and prioritization; Strong methodological and analytical skills; Flexibility adaptability; Problem solving skills; Team working and proactive attitude, result oriented, curious to learn, able to balance and execute on many tasks; Be able to work with management and accounting system, especially SAP, Zucchetti or similar; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English.
DURATION, COMPENSATION BENEFITS Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally; The specialist will be based in Lecce; Temporary contract, possibly from October 2024; Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract; Flexible working time as per internal policies; Support during the immigration process, if needed.
