And we are happy to announce that we are welcoming applicants to join our Legal team in the Investment Group as a Legal Counsel at our Lendlease Italy SGR Spa.
As a Legal Counsel you will work closely with Lendlease Tax, Finance and all other relevant 'central functions', contributing to the delivery of transactions in an efficient and effective manner.
Key Accountabilities:
- advising on all legal matters that may arise in the operations as well as on changes of the legislation that may affect the organization;
- drawing and vetting of contracts, agreements and other legal documents;
- negotiating for contracts;
- following-up on cases filed against the Company and preparing of legal reports and opinions;
- liaising with external lawyers;
- developing, implementing and reviewing of company policies and procedures to ensure that they are in accord with the existing legislation;
- providing necessary support in the board secretarial function;
- providing of day to day legal and, in general, regulatory support of the functional areas covering general compliance queries and reviews.
Key Attributes:
- Qualified as an Italian lawyer with strong academic background.
Further education in business related / property related discipline.
- Project management skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Strong writing and business case development skills.
- Business acumen and good communication skills.
- Minimum 4 years (for qualified lawyers) post qualification experience preferably in a major law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
- Some experience in major urban regeneration projects, communities' projects, apartment projects, commercial (office and industrial) projects, retail property projects, acquisitions and disposals of land, entities and portfolio transactions.
