Accountant & Controller

_**Chaberton Professionals**_, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the research and selection of Middle Management profiles, is currently looking for a Senior Accountant & Cost Controller for an international data-driven creativity Agency._
The resource, operating in the Finance team in Milan, will be responsible for the project management, accounting and controlling.
**He/she will be responsible for the following activities**:
- Project management and project budget control checking aligning with business colleagues and accounting team, ensuring the right revenue reconciliation.
- Account receivable checking and management aligning with client procedure
- Support month-end and year-end closing process.
- Creating reports that help senior leadership understanding the company financials.
- Support to the accounting department to establish and maintain all financial controls.
- Ensure the quality of the control financial reporting.
- Providing the management with the information, which are vital to the decision-making process.
- Managing the budget process.
- Developing and monitoring the business performance metrics with accounting team.
- Use and knowledge of the internal management system and support for colleagues.
- Collaboration with HQ in order to ensure the correct management "by type" of project
**The ideal profile has the following requirements**:
- 4 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
- Must be able to communicate financial information into sound business language so people of all levels can understand.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
- Analytical mind-set
- Able to show the right professional approach, such as diplomacy and top confidentiality when needed;
- Be able to manage multiple tasks in a tight time, maintaining strong attention to detail;
- Extremely passionate, positive and proactive.
