Mission This role focuses on the project management of international R&D projects, focused on power generation, renewable sources, energy efficiency and smart power grid management.
Job responsabilities The new resource will be part of the team Energy Innovation Strategic Centre, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities.
They will: Manage or support the management of EU R&D projects, in the field of power generation (renewable energy and its integration in new sectors), decarbonization & energy transition, power grid development Contribute to RINA's activities of technical development, in the framework of EU funded projects also interacting with international partners Contribute to or delivery reports and results European research and innovation projects involving energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies and the smart grid Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes Contribute to the growth of RINA's network of R&D partners in the field of power generation and distribution, industrial efficiency and decarbonization #LI-MP3 Experience At least 2 years experience in R&D projects Fluent in English and Italian Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results Good attitude to teamwork Open-minded to innovation, creativity and good attitude to networking PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role Model MANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions PIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstances BUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organization MAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraint ADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective way THINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future CLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction EARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity Education Degree in energy/electrical/mechanical engineering with focus on renewable energy technologies, smart grids, energy efficiency, power generation With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
