**POSITION SCOPE**
The Logistics Analyst is a key team member on Country Malt Group's (CMG) Logistics Team.
As a member of this team, you'll partner with the leaders across CMG to develop standard operating procedures and maintain best practices to support and grow a best-in-class Logistics solution.
Your curiosity and analysis skills will be key in continuously seeking improvement in our customer performance, and in the performance of our carriers.
You will be a key problem solver on the team, encountering sophisticated challenges with enthusiastic investigation and creativity.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the data and operational integrity of the Transportation Management System (TMS) within the Country Malt Group (CMG) network of warehouses, suppliers, customers and carriers.
BlueJay's cloud-based Transportation Management System is integrated with CMG's order and accounts payable processes to efficiently manage our logistics processes and carrier relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Structures and manages the Logistics Microsoft Teams Site, to keep information sources clear and relevant for the Logistics Team.
- Organizes, analyzes and manages carrier tariffs, rates and fuel surcharges, ensuring that the system is up to date with current carrier rates.
- Monitors transactional shipping data ensuring that shipments are processed through the system from execution to carrier payment in a timely fashion.
- Reviewing shipments flagged by the system as being outside of payment tolerance specifications and facilitates the approval or dispute of the charges.
- Tracks and reports TMS metric data to the CMG Leadership Team.
- Identifies efficiencies and improvements, making recommendations and implementing changes to improve overall performance of the Logistics function at CMG.
- Collaborates with and supports the Customer Service Representatives, Distribution Centers, Sales team and Accounts Payable team.

- Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Drive for operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to be a leader and set the direction for consistent process and procedures for other logistics team members that use the TMS.
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- BA or BS in business and operations or relevant work experience in warehousing, logistics and/or carrier services.
- 2 to 3 years of experience working in the logistics industry, LTL experience preferred.
- Experience with BlueJay Solution for Shippers or other TMS system.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Standard working hours with the ability to be flexible given time zone differences.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Personal protective equipment is required of all employees when on manufacturing and distribution sites.
- Must be able to work in an open office environment with cubicle seating.
- Must be able to work in the office, attend meetings and interact with others onsite.
- Required compliance with all company policies, procedures, regulations and other standards that encourage a safe workplace.
