Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Management of direct material (new and repaired) request, placing and following up on purchase orders.
Quotation management (technical & commercial approval) and follow up with vendor to check the status of PO.
Placing purchase orders to secure delivery in a timely manner and managing risk and any arising tasks, issues or disputes; alignment of PO price and need dates.
Applying Sourcing Policy with 100% compliance.
Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution, scheduling changes and updating ERP.
Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience.
Proven experience in Procurement and Sourcing, with deep knowledge of Oracle ERP.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Be flexible in a dynamic environment.
Proven experience in the aviation or oil and gas industry, or industrial background.
Fluency in Italian and English, in writing and speaking.
