RINA is currently recruiting for a IC & Monitoring Senior Engineer to join its office in Fano, Milan, Genoa, Italywithin the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.MissionJoin RINA as an Instrumentation and Control Senior Engineer to contribute to and lead projects within our dynamic Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
This role involves collaborating with peers, executing engineering projects, and playing a key role in the technical decision-making processes of the Division.Key AccountabilitiesThe position is a Specialist who will be responsible for executing Projects within the division, interfacing and coordinating with others.
The candidate will be responsible for their technical duties and potentially those of their Team and will refer through the Division hierarchy.
Duties will include the execution of engineering projects from the proposal phase to the final reporting, and they will interface directly with clients and vendors, representing the Company and the I&C Department.Ability to develop in autonomy the various steps required in designing instrumentation, control, safety, F&G and telecom systems, including preparation of technical specifications, data sheets, architectures, layouts and lists.
They can also be required to review the design documentation developed by others, perform Capex, technical bid evaluations, and the Vendor's follow-up.Involvement in the technical decisional processes of the DivisionEducationMaster's Degree in Electronics or Automation and Control EngineeringQualifications Minimum five years of consultancy experience in I&C for the oil and gas industry (onshore/offshore).
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on diverse and challenging activities.
Proficient in working within a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to complex projects.
Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short to medium periods based on project needs.
Working knowledge of international standards for Instrumentation Safety and F&G detection.
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C#, C++) is a plus.
Proficiency in PC use (MS Office) and common commercial software tools for instrumentation (Instrucalc, Smartplant SPI).
Good command of spoken and written technical English and fluent Italian.
A Master's Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Automation and Control Engineering is a plus.
