Materials Controller

RINA is currently recruiting: Materials Controller Location: Ravenna Job Responsibilities Manage materials for Oil and Gas Projects. Identify best technical/economical solutions for materials. Ensure material integrity in compliance with international standards, company specifications, and engineering best practices, including corrosion and cathodic protection. Design and supply specifications of systems (materials parts) and equipment (materials parts). Oversee project and operations for materials management. KEY ACTIVITIES Define and inspect requirements for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural materials. Determine the best technical/economical solutions and conditions of supply for materials, including tracking, storage, and packaging. Maintain overall material integrity in compliance with international standards, including preservation and corrosion risk assessment. Review and approve design and supply specifications of systems (materials parts) and equipment (materials parts), including spare parts lists for commissioning and start-up, ensuring compliance with project objectives and industry standards. Support project and operations for materials management, including overage, shortage, and discrepancy framework and procedures, as well as materials stock management, including defining actual stock quantity, safety stock, and re-order levels for each stored type of material.
