With reference to mining concessions operated in Italy by Energean Italy S.p.A. and Energean Sicilia Srl, the role exercises the function of the "Direttore Responsabile" pursuant to Legislative Decree 624/9- DPR 886/7- DPR128/59 and subsequent amendments, reporting directly to the HSE Operational Head and matrix to the holder of the mining concessions.Responsibilities:Takes care of field work organization according to safety provisions issued by the Data Controller, including site inspections, visits, briefings, supervision of work permits, etc.Observes and ensures compliance with legislative and regulatory provisions on the protection of the safety and health of workers, implementing the DSSC (signed by him/her), both in terms of objectives and specific provisions.Issues specific service orders to implement the Data Controller's safety provisions for activities relevant from the point of view of worker safety.Supports the Data Controller operationally in responsibility for safety and health in the workplace.Manages emergencies with service orders, work permits, provisions aimed at overcoming the emergency itself.Verifies the correct legislative compliance of mining sites as required by current legislation in terms of workplace safety, including fire-fighting systems, lifting systems, pressure equipment, explosive atmospheres, and all that is required by Legislative Decree 624/96 and Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments.Requests resolution of anomalies by activating the appropriate technical functions if detected.Verifies and rationalizes individual work plans, making them congruent with available resources according to safety and workplace aspects.Verifies completeness and consistency of necessary documentation by contractors, ensuring its adequacy for carrying out planned works within the company's documentation management process.Participates in training and information sessions for roles of competence.Interfaces with the competent UNMIG Territorial Office and with the URIG for all issues relating to safety in the workplace.Interfaces with the competent territorial commands of the Fire Brigade, the Port Authorities, and any other competent control body for all matters relating to safety in the workplace.Accompanies bodies in charge of safety inspections during field visits, providing clarifications and anything else related to safety aspects and their organization.Minimum Requirements:A degree in engineering with qualification to the profession, or a degree in geology with qualification to the profession (as provided for by Legislative Decree 128/59 amended by Law 388 of 23 December 2000, art.14, paragraph 5) is required.
At least 3 years of experience in the role is also required.
Additionally, knowledge of the principles of treatment of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons, maintenance of industrial plants, and management of offshore plants is necessary.
The candidate should also have knowledge of technical regulations of the sector (confined spaces, hazardous atmospheres, Exxd classified areas, fire prevention regulations, work at height, handling of loads), as well as aspects relating to mining and safety regulations in the workplace (Legislative Decree 624/96, Presidential Decree 886/79, Legislative Decree 81/2008).Ideal Candidate:Project Management and Project Control skillsWritten and spoken English (minimum requirement level B2)Excellent knowledge of the office package, especially ExcelExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to fit in and work in a teamAttitude to work by priorityProactivityProblem solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
