RINA is currently recruiting for a Solar PV Engineer - progettazione costruzione di impianti fotovoltaici to join its office in Roma, Genoa, Milan, Lecce or Bari - Italy within the Green Energy Solutions Division.MissionThis role mainly focuses on providing Owner's Engineering Services related to PV and/or BESS projects within Italy and South-East Europe.Key AccountabilitiesFor PV, review of resource availability studies, technology studies and structural studies; review of electrical design projects, contractual documentation and environmental studies; review of permitting, health safety reports, grid offers and connection agreements;Execution of feasibility studies as well as preliminary design of PV and/or BESS plants;Project Management activities, such as proactive communication with clients, with the internal team and with the stakeholders;Support in the preparation of proposals and reports;Support in the preparation and management of tendering, negotiation and selection of contractors and key component provider;Conduction of on site visit inspections and production of reports.Qualifications ExperiencesAt least 5 years of working experience in solar PV.Experience of renewable permitting process would be advantageous.Previous experience working for an Engineering Consultancy Firm or an EPC Contractor would be beneficial.Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential.Having any experience of electrical design would be advantageous (in particular if gained in Engineering Consultancy Company or in an EPC Contractor).EducationMaster's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
