In over 71 countries worldwide, MSF provides both life-saving emergency relief and longer-term assistance to make basic healthcare services available to the most vulnerable or excluded communities.
MSF Netherlands in Italy coordinates the Search and Rescue operations in the Central Mediterranean which provide lifesaving activities and basic assistance operating with the Geo Barents ship.Scope and Objectives of the PositionDigital contents and social media are essential tools in a mission with such a high media exposure and attention.
In the MSF Search and Rescue (SAR) mission, timely and accurate coverage of the operations through real-time communication tools is one of the pillars of the communication strategy.
The AV-Digital FCM, in coordination with the FCC and the rest of the communications team, plays a key role to define, implement and update a dedicated digital strategy.
In parallel, the AV-Digital FCM leads on and coordinates the production of digital contents, proposing innovative formats and communications initiatives.
