Axa Partners Italy is looking for a Security Administrator.Contract type: permanentLocation: Rome- Zona TiburtinaWithin the IT organization of AXA Partners Italy, the Security Administrator plans, implements and monitors security best practices and protocols to maintain the integrity of county networks, data and related equipment.
Provides advanced-level maintenance and support of network and security related systems.
Manages, configures and supports security tools to monitor company assets in order to anticipate risks and issues, determining best actions to apply in accordance with AXA Partners standards and in agreement to Local Head of IT.
Provides technical assistance as SME (Subject Matter Expert) to all Information Technology (IT) staff members, in relation to security subjects and related topics.
Security Administrator is the focal point for all security topics for IT, including the execution that can be provided by internal staff and/or external support where needed.·Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance at a specified location in order to perform assigned tasks.
·Maintains appropriate access and security levels throughout active directory, servers, LAN/WAN, and other security related equipment.
·Monitors system and security logs, activity and network traffic for suspicious behavior; performs remediation tasks as necessary.
·Performs risk assessments, such as vulnerability and penetration tests, to ensure security measures identify and defend against threats.
·Develops and implements disaster recovery plans to safeguard data from accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
·Develops network policies, security standards and authorization roles for users to adhere to in defense against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
·Maintains current knowledge of emerging security and technology trends, vulnerabilities and breaches; makes recommendations for system protection upgrades and security standards as needed.
·Configures and provides technical support for security tools, such as firewalls, filtering and anti-virus/EDR software.
·Supports IT staff during each main activities on Windows/Linux servers, VMWare, MS365, MS SQL Server, mySQL, Active Directory and network security solutions, in order to grant the right security level of adoption in each asset.·Plans and conducts training for users to understand and adhere to security protocols.
·Maintains software and hardware inventory and procedural documentation related to security execution.·Troubleshoots network function concerns and performs network repair and maintenance as needed; responds to and initiates work orders, records problems and actions taken, updates documentation of newly installed equipment and changes to server and computer configurations.
·Attends trainings, conferences and networking events to stay current on security related topics, industry standards, best practices, legislative updates and laws.
·Collaborates and networks with other IT support personnel and professionals, including Local Security Officer·Interacts with users in a professional, courteous, and responsive manner.

At AXA Partners, we plant a tree for each new recruit (permanent) (To find out more about the Reforest program, click).Your ProfileTechnical skills and experience:·Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred or associate degree in related technical field is acceptable with 2-5 years of relevant experience in cyber security, system administration or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.·Network+ and Security+ certifications preferred.·Knowledge of maintaining Windows and Linux servers, networks and networking equipment.·Knowledge of virus and spyware protection tools, security devices and respective software.·Knowledge of network and mail system installation and configuration.·Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.·Knowledge of standard network software packages, business software and business applications.·Excellent technical communication skills to convey to Regional and Central figures effectively.·Ability to learn and apply new network, security and system techniques efficiently.
·Ability to exercise good, independent judgement in the performance of duties.·Ability to work independently and as a team member.·Ability to troubleshoot security, network and software problems.·Ability to provide customer service that is courteous and responsive.·Ability to think logically, analyze and interpret problems and respond with an effective resolution.·Ability to be detail-oriented to plan and coordinate multiple tasks and competing priorities.·Ability to maintain confidentiality of protected information as applicable.About AXAAXA Group is the world leader in insurance and asset management.
