Working the overnight shift (10:30 pm – 7 am, approximately) As the Overnight Team Lead you will be entitled to $2.00 additional per hour on top of the hourly rate. Job Duties Include: Reporting to the Chief Steward, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow ColleaguesWorking the overnight shift (10:30 pm – 7 am, approximately)Deep clean the kitchen after hours to ensure the highest level of hygiene and sanitation is met.Clean and maintain all kitchen floors, ovens, stovetops, walls and ceiling tiles.Polish and buff all Stainless steel.Communicate any areas in need of repair via a work order.Enforce a safe work environment for all colleagues and guests by upholding the Safety rules provided by The Fairmont Banff Springs and the Stewarding Department.Foster an environment of cooperation within the department, and between other departments within the hotel, encouraging participation and input from all colleagues, while promoting professional work habits that will ensure that the department is being guided at all times by Fairmont's Mission, Vision and ValuesOther duties as assigned Qualifications Your Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience is an assetAbility to operate industrial machineryConstant lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, kneeling, and carrying up to 50lbsAbility to stand and walk for 8 hoursExposure to kitchen equipment, sounds, fumes, chemicals, working in hot, humid & cold environmentsPassionate and organized about maintaining a clean safe working environment Additional Information Subsidized staff accommodation provided on-site for full time status employeesOne complimentary meal per shift in our staff cafeteria (additional meals can be purchased for $4/meal)Comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Vision & Dental) including extended benefits like; Mental Health, Orthodontics, Fertility Drugs and Gender Affirmation for full time permanent status employeesDefined Contribution Pension Plan with employer matching up to 5% of annual earnings for full time permanent status employeesEmployee travel program with discounts on room rates as well as on food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties world-wideAccess to the Mountain Explorer Travel Program – exclusive room rates for colleagues, which includes 50% off all food & beverage when staying at Fairmont Resorts in Lake Louise, Jasper & WhistlerDiscounts while using our resort's Food & Beverage Outlets, Fitness Centre, Spa and Fairmont Banff Springs Golf CoursesVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
