Responsibilities
As a key pillar of Société Générale Group's universal banking model, SG CIB supports the economy by playing a key intermediary role, offering broad market access to issuers and smart investment solutions to investors. The service we bring to our corporate and financial institutions clients revolves around three main activities - investment banking, financing and markets - and our global franchises of equity derivatives and natural resources.
The Commercial Real Estate Division (REL) is responsible for providing financing solutions for professional investors investing in office, logistics, retail, hotel and other real estate (incl. multifamily, student accommodation and nursing homes). Beyond its client basis, REL has extensive relationships with real estate brokers and appraisers, rating agencies, debt providers and investors, insurers and lawyers.

Tasks and responsibilities:
Underwriting and structuring of commercial real estate structured finance transactions including leading the cashflow modelling
Assisting in the structuring and execution of real estate commercial mortgage loans, including participation in the drafting of marketing pitches, termsheets, credit applications, and actively participate in any marketing effort
Participating in close collaboration with appropriate bank distribution forces to distribute commercial mortgage loans through the syndication market or alternative routes using debt capital market techniques or ad-hoc structures based on debt investors' specific requirements
Monitoring of deals in the book
Maintaining close contact with the CRE market and developing a clear understanding of real estate asset management strategies
Interacting with clients under the supervision of Senior Front Officers during the execution phase of transactions
Ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory obligations
Participating in the origination of Real Estate advisory mandates
Conducting risk analysis and understanding all issues relevant for each transaction (context, aim, constraints related to the assets and/or the legal and tax environment)
Performing financial analysis and modelling of the considered projects
Profile required
Studies & experience:
Bachelor/Master degree from a top ranked business and/or engineering college
Any Commercial Real Estate specialization is welcomed
At least 1-2 years' experience in Structured financing in banks, insurers and/or private equity funds
Language skills:
English: C2
Italian and/or Spanish: B2
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Professional command of MS Office
Understanding of the loan market, its dynamics and the related instruments, including credit and rates derivatives to propose relevant financing solutions
Capacity to generate pitch material that is clear, structured, compelling, and comprehensive in addressing clients' needs
