Calibration Engineer

ALTEN Italia - Calibration Engineer ALTEN Italia is looking for Calibration Engineers with different levels of experience ranging from 6 months to 3 years for important companies operating in the AUTOMOTIVE sector. You will be involved in the AUTOMOTIVE sector on various projects related to calibration (calibration on engine test benches for diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric/HVAC/ADAS/On Board Diagnostic). What will you be responsible for? Calibration experimentation on engine test benches for diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric; Vehicle calibration; Definition of combustion process (emissions, performance), safety, and drivability; Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting; Post-processing, after treatment; Vehicle test programming; Dataset, calibration analysis and control, coordination of release activities; Preparation of comprehensive reports based on activities and technical documentation of tests conducted. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields; Experience in calibration on engine test benches for diesel/petrol/hybrid/electric; Prior experience in engine experimentation and functional verification; Diagnosis of anomalies from bench tests, in-vehicle, or on track; Good knowledge of engines, After treatment systems, and ATS; Knowledge of one or more of the following tools: ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power; Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink; Good knowledge of English language.
