More information at essity.Com.We are seeking an Operations Leader for one of our Lucca plants.
The role includes managing 3 direct reports (Line Leaders) and their teams, totaling approximately 70 staff members.
The Lucca site's workforce is around 150 people and features a 6-line roll converting department for toilet paper, kitchen paper, and industrial rolls, alongside a product storage warehouse.You will manage the entire manufacturing setup from the perspective of the 5M's within the production area.We are in search of individuals who represent our core values, who are eager to challenge norms, drive innovation, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

If you resonate with this ethos, we are excited to engage in conversation with you.What You Will DoServe as a Safety Role Model: tasked with fostering the organizational skills necessary to achieve anticipated outcomes, providing supreme leadership, guidance, and coaching.
Safety is paramount.You bear the ultimate responsibility for the 5M's (Men, Machines, Materials, Methods, Measures) from an SQCDM standpoint (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale).You ensure effective Continuous Improvement from both daily and strategic perspectives (utilizing top-tier manufacturing methods such as TPM, 5s, HMex tools & practices), achieved also through robust networking and collaboration within the Company.Charged with aiding in the formulation and implementation of the Industrial plant's strategy, aligning with both Business and Cultural goals.Convert the Industrial Plan into annual objectives, leading with the principles of Envision, Energize, Enable at every organizational tier; establish NFKPI's targets, persevering until their complete realization.Guarantee the department meets the necessary production standards in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale (all criteria to be met without exception).Responsible for overseeing the People Performance Management process and managing consequences within your department.Who You ArePossessing a degree in Engineering Disciplines; however, equivalent experience may also be considered when supported by factual evidence.Possessing a background in plant operations coupled with experience in managing people.A mindset focused on Continuous Improvement, tackling problems at their core without compromise.A demonstrated history of effecting cultural change, with expertise and hands-on experience in lean methodologies.Leadership that emphasizes strong team building.A genuine passion for talent development involves being a coach and a leader who nurtures the growth of other leaders.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in both Italian and English.Integrity manifests in actions, seamlessly integrating Situational Leadership Principles: mentoring with influence, setting a precedent through personal example, and offering transparent feedback.Building excellent, profitable relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all organizational levels.What We Can Offer YouAt Essity, we hold the conviction that each individual's learning and professional growth is distinct.
