Working at ST means innovating for a future that we want to make smarter, greener, and more sustainable. Posting Presentation: You will be a key contributor to SiC Technology volume ramp-up in ST. The work location will be in the new mass-production fab in Catania for the manufacturing of SiC substrate wafers. This facility will be a first of a kind in Europe for the production in volume of SiC epitaxial substrates, integrating all steps in the production flow. Your main task will be to ensure a smooth transition between the RD activities and the mass-production fab, particularly with the qualification of new measurement equipment and monitoring their behavior in the production environment. Key Responsibilities: Drive the new Fab start-up, following equipment installations with strong interaction with suppliers. Acceptance, qualification, and monitoring of new tools, building an effective preventive maintenance schedule. Monitor tool performances in the production environment and perform troubleshooting on equipment faults. Create new strategies to improve process and equipment robustness. Define and perform Measurement System Analysis to ensure tool capability. Process and Equipment performance optimization to improve overall efficiency, quality, cost, and cycle time. Drive the team with leadership to achieve company strategic objectives. Profile Required: Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities: PhD or Master in a scientific faculty, e.g., Engineering. Experience in silicon processing and flow knowledge is a plus. Precision, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. Fluent English is a must. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Committed, proactive, and curious.
