About the roleWe are currently looking for a talented candidate in the Procurement Department as General Procurement Buyer for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
Main Tasks CATEGORY MANAGEMENT and ECOSYSTEM MANAGEMENT
Put in place category strategies, defined by Group and Local Category manager, for efficient sourcing to meet the business partner demandConduct local market analysisManage cross-functional projects (sourcing, tender process, negotiation, contract), in close partnership with main Business functionsAchieve economic and/or qualitative targets for each projectTrack sourcing event baseline and efficiencies (savings)Apply and follow relevant policies and procedures to pursue the category strategy consistently complying with the Group framework and guidelinesSUPPLIER MANAGEMENT and RISK MANAGEMENT
Work collaboratively with ecosystem partners to manage supplier relationships and maximize sustainable value generationMonitor and assess suppliers and supply performance together with main Business functions, according to cost criteria, service quality, reliability, market benchmark, financial risk, reputation, etcCONTRACT MANAGEMENT and NEGOTIATION
Define, in collaboration with Business and Legal support, contract terms to reduce and mitigate financial and legal riskPrepare with business partner analysis and scenarios to support negotiationManage contracts negotiation, administration and contract lifecycleReflect category strategy into contracts (KPIs and SLAs)Monitor contract KPIs and special conditions Who we are looking forGraduate, preferably in Engineering or Business ManagementPrevious experience in Procurement (especially Indirect Procurement) is a plusDynamic and proactive person with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsA person able to work effectively in a fast-paced and international environmentA professional able to prioritize issues and deploy corrective actionsKnowledgeable about Microsoft Office, Procurement platformsFluent in English and in Italian
