Big Data Tech Lead

We are looking for a Big Data Engineer with experience of 2+ years in developing Big Data projects.Who we are: We are Metyis, a forward-thinking, global company that develops and delivers solutions around Big Data, Digital Commerce, Marketing, and Design and provides Advisory services.We have offices in 15 locations with a talent pool of 1000+ employees and more than 50 nationalities dedicated to creating long-lasting impact and growth for our business partners and clients This year, we initiated a long-term partnership with a major business partner in the insurance and telematics industry in Italy to tackle new products, data monetisation, governance strategies, cost optimisation, and HR strategy projects.We are excited to help our business partner build internal capabilities with a winning team that will contribute to the company's growth and success.What we offer: Work in multidisciplinary teams and learn from motivated colleagues.A chance to take responsibility for your work, develop yourself daily, and fully own your career.Become part of a fast-growing and diverse team.What you?will do: Designing new Big Data and IoT solutions from a technical perspective, ensuring their alignment with business expectations.Leading development projects as a technical lead, verifying and ensuring adherence to timelines, technical quality, and requirements.Supporting the team in the evolution of the current Big Data platform and the solutions developed on it.What you'll bring: Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.Previous professional experience of at least 2/3 years in developing Big Data projects.Mandatory Knowledge Big Data technologies as Kafka, Spark, ecc.A profile with previous skills in Cloudera, Hadoop, etc., is preferable.Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, Scala, R), data stream processing (Spark Streaming), NoSQL databases (MongoDB).Consolidated experience in manipulating, extracting, and transforming unstructured databases.Fluent in English (B1).Additional profile characteristics: excellent relational skills, teamwork attitude, autonomy, and problem-solving.
