Launched in 2020 weve organically reached over 17 million users allowing them to analyze track and compare their musical tastes while connecting directly with their favorite artists.
As a Principal Product Manager you will be pivotal in shaping the future of our music analytics and discovery platform. Youll lead product development initiatives that enhance user engagement and growth across both B2C and B2B segments leveraging our existing data to expand into new services. Your expertise will align product strategy with business goals making a significant impact in the following ways. Keep Reading :)
Your Mission Vision and Strategy: Define and execute the product vision and strategy for new and existing features that appeal to both consumers and business customers. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle ensuring each phase aligns with user needs and strategic goals. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers partners and internal teams to prioritize product requirements. DataDriven Decisions: Analyze user data to make informed decisions that enhance user growth satisfaction and engagement. Network Effect: Develop the network effect of the product connecting music lovers artists labels and other industry stakeholders. Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand industry trends technologies and practices affecting music and digital products. B2B2C Expansion: Design strategies to extend our datadriven insights into new B2B SaaS services while continuing to deliver value to B2C users. Innovation Leadership: Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation advocating for the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. Ethical Data Use: Champion ethical practices in data handling to protect user privacy and security. Metrics Analysis: Define and analyze key metrics that measure the platforms success. Your Expedition Toolkit Product Management Experience: 5 years in product management ideally within tech and specifically in the music industry. B2B2C Expansion Experience: Experience leveraging consumer data for B2B SaaS services and designing strategies for crossindustry collaboration. Mobile App Ecosystem: Deep understanding of mobile app ecosystems user behavior and datadriven decisionmaking. Gamification and Feedback Loops: Knowledge of gamification for nongaming apps and feedback loop implementation. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and passion for datadriven decisionmaking. CrossFunctional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate crossfunctionally with engineering marketing sales and support teams. UserCentric Design: Expertise in usercentered design usability and accessibility. Inspirational Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience leading remote diverse teams. SelfStarter: A proactive individual who embodies a passion for learning developing and inspiring others. Time Zone Flexibility: Willingness to work in UTC7 to UTC2 time zones.
