The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: FEM Analyst Engineer - Cost Out Initiatives Job location: Florence or Turin area Role Overview: The Analyst will join our engineering programs to support our Customers' designers in the development of Cost Out initiatives, relating to the design optimization of Aero Engines / Gearbox components.
Work Experience Specialized Knowledge Skills: Master Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering; At least 1 year FEA related experience in the industry; Ability to generate FEM/analytical models of mechanical parts, modules, and assemblies; Experienced in Static, Dynamic, Structural and Thermal analysis; Experienced in at least 1 FEM tool such as ANSYS, Hypermesh, Patran/Nastran (knowledge of ANSYS will be advantageous); Able to develop macros and codes in order to perform pre-processing and post-processing activities; Proven experience in 3D CAD tools (e.g.
Siemens NX, Catia, etc.)
will be advantageous; Learn, understand, and apply our Customer's standard procedures; A Turbomachinery background will be advantageous but not mandatory; Good command of English language (i. e. B2); Commitment, precision, flexibility, reliability; Excellent documentation and presentation skills; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent team-work attitude; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Availability for business travels (short long term travels); Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines.
