- Work with partner teams in Innovation, Deployment, Maintenance, Safety and Operations to build impactful products
A day in the life

You would be working with external vendors and partners from Operations, Process Improvement, Health and Safety, Ergonomics, Finance, Procurement to design and develop standardized material handling equipment (MHE) and automation solutions (MLA) that can be deployed in AMZL Delivery Stations. You will write and update the specifications of the above technologies and support deployment from the tender phase throughout the firm engineering to validate and freeze vendor's design till execution of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT). Further, you will be empowered to propose and drive continuous improvements initiatives focusing on performance, quality, ergonomics, usability and reliability of all the deployed technologies. You will work at design level, benchmarking solutions from different integrators to identify design best practices.
About the team
Our mission is to standardize and improve engineering solutions, providing our customers with safe, scalable and reliable technologies. Holistically, the AMZL EU Engineering Excellence Team is responsible for two major fields: drive technical improvement projects that will improve safety, associate experience, performance by optimal costs and ensure technical standardization with special focus on automation. The team partners with several stakeholders inside and outside of Engineering around the globe to work towards WW standards. Also, the team support technical assessment of integrators, perform audits, and provide performance/quality data to support the strategic decision-making.
