Job DescriptionGlobal Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large companies.Based in Milan, and reporting to the Head of Financial Lines Industrial & Commercial - GC&CI, you will deal with underwriting across the Financial Lines product lines in Italy.You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the targets.Main tasks:Perform underwriting and portfolio management activities to achieve top and bottom line targets in line with the Financial Lines governance framework (Underwriting Authorities, Guidelines, Rules and Principles)Underwrite Corporate Financial Lines risks, in respect of all products, with the capability to drive the relationship with internal and external stakeholders in the insurance and reinsurance marketSupport products development activityRequirementsThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: Degree in Economics or LawPrevious experience in the financial lines market as an underwriter or broker is a plusFluent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written), it is preferred the knowledge of at least a second foreign languageAttitude to work in team, ability in commercial negotiation and good communication skillsGood command of main IT packages (Office/internet)Ability to work in an international contextCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
