Essential functions\duties:
The Instrumental supervisor is responsible for:
- Witnessing the instrument tests, controls and inspections carried out.
- Checking cable laying and cable identification.
- Performing all relevant loop checks.
- Updating as built drawings.
- Performing visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating and material for connection.
- Performing tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
- Calibrating safety valves and instruments.
- Checking installation of instruments.
- Performing instruments functional test.
- Checking pneumatic signal connection and fiber optic cables.
- Performing test communication functionalities.
- Verifying special processes and the relevant workers qualifications.
- Preparing all inspection report prior for the acceptance of the Customer.
- Reviewing all instrument accepted documents such as Instrument data sheet, vendor drawings,
Instrument and Piping diagram with latest revisions, quality control inspection report documents signed
by Customer representatives.
- Executing the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
- Issuing the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writing and sending to QC
Supervisor/Coordinator Non-Conformances Reports.
- Updating as built drawings.
- Performing punch-listing operations.
- Performing visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection.
- Performing test communication functionalities.
- Verifying special processes and the relevant workers' qualifications.
- Checking conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtaining the relevant documentation, checking
procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, managing documents certifying
tests, controls and inspections.
Requirements:
- At least more than 3 year experience as Instrumental Supervisor in the offshore/onshore Oil & Gas or
power generation industries in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves,
rotating equipment, steel structures etc.
- Hazardous Area installation and inspection experience is an advantage.
