Barkeeper (m/f/x) As of now – part-time - Venice, Italy As Europe's largest Hostel chain, a&o is simple, diverse, and always with a smile. By 2025, the company wants to be the first European hostel chain to be CO2 net zero - reducing its own ecological footprint to a minimum and offsetting the rest.

To support our team at the a&o Hostel Venice Mestre, we are looking for YOU - a Barkeeper (m/f/x) to manage our lobby bar.

YOUR JOB - Il tuo lavoro Availability only for evening shifts at the bar from 6pm onwards Support at the bar: preparation of drinks such as spritzes and basic cocktails Cleaning of the bar area, tables, and exteriors Basic preparation of toast, sandwiches, beers, and spritzes on the outside terrace YOUR PROFILE - Il tuo profilo You are a responsible person, capable of working in a team and also alone You are a motivated, dynamic, and flexible person Availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays Previous experience in tourism or work in contact with the public is preferable, but not essential Excellent knowledge of the Italian and English languages OUR OFFER - La nostra offerta 75% discount on private overnight stays in all a&o hostels Attractive corporate benefits such as discounted leisure activities and events Subsidized language courses 100% coverage of your public transport costs (job ticket) Support for your further education in the form of various trainings Mental Health: We offer you free and anonymous mental health coaching from our independent partner "Likeminded", who will support you with professional, private, and health-related challenges Of course, we provide drinks, fruit, and vegetables on a daily basis – and as hostel staff, you can join your team for the meals served at the buffet Seniority bonuses in the form of cash bonuses and additional vacation days We are very happy to receive your application (resume, desired salary, earliest possible starting date).
