Main responsibilities and duties: • Will keep professional and ethical relationships with guests, suppliers and colleagues.
• Will supervise the mise en place for each shift (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Will supervise the tidiness of the restaurant, cafeteria and back office, as well as the pristine condition of the menus.
• Will anticipate the needs of our guests, taking extreme care of details and customer service as well as supervising the entire waiting team.
• Will ensure effective communication between the waiting staff and the kitchen staff, in compliance with our current procedures.
• Will manage restaurant reservations in accordance with the procedure and instructions received.
• Will supervise and train the waiting staff.
• Will create a positive and collaborative work atmosphere within the team, spreading the culture of proactive teamwork among company departments.
• Will actively collaborate to ensure the organisation of our events (banquets, meetings, etc.)
• Will collect all materials needed from the warehouse in accordance with the instructions received.
• Will meticulously fulfill the handover to their colleague responsible for the next shift.
• At the end of each shift, will check that the offices have been securely locked.
• Will ensure compliance with all the HACCP system rules.
• Will check the correct use and upkeep of the equipment and materials supplied.
• Will implement all the information shared during training.
The role of the Maître is to work with the restaurant team to ensure excellent service for our guests, supervising and managing the entire waiting staff, in compliance with our company philosophy, operating standards and procedures.
He or she will help to develop a harmonious work atmosphere with a focused approach on collaboration.
