Metal Scrap Procurement Lead (f/m/d) Responsibilities & QualificationsWhat awaits you: You maintain and develop contacts with aluminum scrap suppliersYou ensure the quality and on-time delivery up to inspecting and processing of scrap deliveries at the recycling plant and remelt plantsYou explore new scrap markets to support the recycling content growthYou analyze global procurement markets and develop new procurement strategiesYou continuously control and optimize internal material flowsYou cooperate closely with metal planning functions, European casthouses, operations including Nachterstedt Recycling Center, as well as othersupport functions (i.e. logistics, quality etc.)You are responsible to expedite procurement /open orders and to reduce metal costsTravelling within Europe (approximately 40%)How you convince us: You hold a university degree in Business Administration or similarYou have at least 5 years working experience in the purchasing fieldYou have a good understanding of the scrap market, recycling operations, supplier selection and risk assessmentYou are proficient in MS office programs (Word, Outlook, and Excel)Experience in SAP is welcomeFlexibility and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workYou bring a willingness to travel within EuropeBusiness fluent German and English language skillsWhat Novelis offers you: A permanent position with the global pioneer for technology and sustainability in the future market of aluminum processing and recyclingAn attractive salary package as well as a company pension planFlexible working time models and the possibility for mobile workingAn employee parking lot and a company restaurantCorporate Benefits: Attractive purchasing benefits from well-known companies such as Apple, WMF, Sixt or AdidasDiscounted membership in the cooperating fitness studioAn open corporate culture with the opportunity to drive things forward and contribute ideasHigh occupational safety standards including free occupational medical care as well as an offer within the framework of health managementAdditional insurance policies covering out-of work injures and extra medical servicesThe opportunity to shape a sustainable world togetherHave we caught your interest?
