Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled, well-rounded AI Software Engineer to join our AI innovation lab team. The ideal candidate will lead AI experiments and bring cutting-edge GenAI solutions from ideation to production.
Avaloq's AI Lab mission is to enhance operational efficiency and provide personalized wealth management solutions by responsibly leveraging GenAI tech. The team develops solutions for the banking industry, catering to diverse users such as banking operations, software engineers, knowledge services teams, and client advisors.
Your Key TasksLead AI experiments and develop solutions from ideation to productionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI solutionsDeploy and maintain AI models in production environmentsOptimize solutions for performance and scalabilityStay updated with the latest advancements in AI tech and related regulationsQualificationsM.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong background in data science, statistics, and experimental thinkingUnderstanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principlesEffective communication and collaboration skillsAt least 5 years of experience in Full-Stack Software DevelopmentAt least 1 year of experience in developing Generative AI applications and fine-tuning LLMsProven track record of deploying and maintaining AI models in productionExperience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similarExcellent analytical, coding, and debugging skills in PythonFamiliarity with cloud AI services (e.g., AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock), Azure (AI Studio), GCP (Vertex AI))Experience with MLOps and workflow platforms (e.g., MLFlow)Optimization and compute distribution for training and inference (e.g., NVIDIA NIM, CUDA, DeepSpeed, Ray, etc.)Experience with microservices and REST APIsIt would be a real bonus if you have:
