The Sites Network shapes Roche's ecosystem of infrastructure integrated services to enable best work outcomes.With more than 3,500 highly skilled colleagues, our function offers over 200 capabilities and even more services at 10 multi-functional / cross-divisional sites in Switzerland, Germany and the U.S., touching more than half of Roche's employees and enabling them to do their best work - for patients and society.As Sites Network Strategy Lead, you will report to the Head of Business Operations Strategic Planning of the Sites Network, and support the Head of Sites Network and the Sites Enablement Team (SET) in shaping and implementing the overall strategic direction and operational performance, in service of our ambition.This role provides a high impact potential and exposure with a broad range of development and collaboration opportunities in different areas of Roche.We are seeking a dynamic and visionary professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about making a difference.
The main responsibilities include:Lead key strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects across the organisationUsing data-driven insights to develop strategic options, analyse trade-offs, measure progress and adjust strategies as neededArchitecting the path to decision making and successful implementation, anticipate/mitigate associated challenges and risks, and drive organisational change as requiredBuild a strong network and broad knowledge base across the organisation to identify key business trends and opportunities, gain buy-in and strengthen communication flowsLead, develop and support the preparation of concise presentations that synthesise insights into briefing documents or slides to support decision-making and communicationOwn, prepare and orchestrate executive meetings and workshops ensuring effectiveness, overall connectedness and follow upWho you are:Bachelor's Degree or above; MBA or other relevant Graduate or Postgraduate Degree preferred5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility and proven track record in strategy development, planning implementation of varying scope and scale, either in consulting or in-house strategyStrong systems thinking and analytical skills with proven problem solving, stakeholder management, influencing skills and high integrityExcellence in developing concise, fact-based presentations with clear storylines tailored to different audiences with a high attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and presentation skills in both English and GermanAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and demanding environment that requires at times high degrees of flexibility and managing multiple prioritiesThe primary location for this position is Basel or Rotkreuz in Switzerland.
