Position DescriptionYou will serve as a Transportation Assistant in the Navy Household Goods/Personal Property Shipping Office of NAVSUP FLC SIG GF.Position Duties/ResponsibilitiesYou will monitor contractor/agent activities and evaluate the quality of services provided.You will inform and advise customers on procedures for delivery, unpacking or packing of household goods.You will maintain and evaluate contractors' performance files to ensure that contractors fulfill commitments and legal requirements.You will inspect condition of container(s) for visible damage prior to unpacking of items or property.You will inspect warehouses to assure that proper storage methods are used and that the facility is adequately protected.You will perform and report stamp inventories and submit workload reports.You will support the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of continuous process improvement (CPI) initiatives and automated technology systems.Pay PlanGSTelework EligibleYes
