As a Digitalization Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in transforming our operations.
You'll design a comprehensive digital roadmap and a state-of-the-art manufacturing ecosystem, seamlessly integrating ERP systems with manufacturing equipment.
Your work will ensure a traceable, paperless, and efficient manufacturing process, enhanced by embedded AI technologies.Your tasksLeading the Digital Road-Map developmentAnalysis and specification of the manufacturing digitalized eco-system, incl.
the according interfaces and collaboration with suppliers (MES/APS, shop-edge/data lake, AI, interfaces, track trace, digital labor management)Definition of project execution plan, deliverables and timelines, project budgetsDetailed architecture and specification of systemSearch and evaluate suppliers and collaborative work to firm offerJoint detailed engineering (design phase) with supplier in-line with specification, performance and costsSupport and guide the installation and commissioning (build phase) of system until hand-over to operationOn time execution of the defined projects within the assigned budgetContinuous improvement and outlook for manufacturing improvements in respect of digitalizationMember of a (cross-functional, cross-locational) international project teamAdhere to corporate social responsibility principlesRequirementsThe Candidate should have deep knowledge practical experience in 2 of the following 5 areas (at least one experience in item 1 or 2)Machine Integration / Digitalization (foundation for all)Candidate should know about protocols and standards used for machine integration (OPC UA, MQTT).
Information modelling is a big plusCandidate should know about Software system integration.
Example leading a project connecting systems via (Rest) API interfacesCandidate should know about latest trends in the field of manufacturing integration (conferences, educational courses, others)Candidate should have led a digitalization project in the field of IIoT integration, Manufacturing Operation Management, Process parameter regulation.Should know (not implement) IT Infrastructure technologies (Kubernetes platforms, cloud technologies)Industrial IIoT experienceCandidate should have led a project setting up a IIoT platform and connect to different devices (Ideally in the field of quality control, predictive maintenance, energy consumption, sustainability)Automation Control Systems experience (Understanding and implementing automation technologies is vital for increasing efficiency and reducing quality issues in manufacturing)Candidate have led project in automation technologies (MES integration, Process control simulation, Automatic quality control by regulation of process parameters, Track trace of products and materials in production)Data analytics (Digitalization heavily relies on data.
The ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to derive actionable insights is crucial)Candidate should have led a project where data analytics was applied to improve manufacturing processesData cleaning preprocessing experienceIntegration of Machine Learning tools in manufacturing processes (predictive maintenance, statistical quality control with feedback loop)Cybersecurity (manufacturing systems become more connected, ensuring their security against cyber threats is paramount.
