Job Title: System Design Architect Senior Professional

Activities:IGT is looking for a Cloud and Application Architect who can drive and implement the technology roadmap of the IGT iLottery platform, ensuring the latest technology guidelines and best practices are adopted. As a Cloud and Application Architect, you must have a proven track record of defining architectural designs with a sense of Lean and Agile practices. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineering teams, subject matter experts, and product managers to design, improve, and architect state-of-the-art iLottery platforms. You will be the owner of our IGT iLottery platform architecture, responsible for ensuring rationalization, integration, and scaling of the iLottery platform via collaboration with different teams across the company.
Cloud architecture design and implementationRationalize IGT technology offeringEvangelize engineering teams with guidance during implementationSupport troubleshooting when requiredRequirements:Experience in Azure cloud architecture design (3+ years strongly preferred)Experience in Kubernetes (3+ years strongly preferred)5+ years' hands-on experience in software development and/or architectureProven experience leading through influenceExperience in OOD & OOP (Java)Experience in databases (PostgreSQL is a plus) and web technologiesExperience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reportsExperience with system and solution design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and supportExperience in Agile methodologiesDeep understanding of standard architectural patterns and best practicesExperience with CI/CD tools and related methodologiesStrong knowledge of modeling tools (UML, Archi)Strong communication skillsQualification:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
