Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and innovative environment?Prysmian is seeking a Production Manager who can drive excellence and ensure our high standards are met to join our team at the Merlino Plant (LO).This plant specializes in the production of special cables and, as Production Manager, you will:Manage a team of four shift leaders and approximately one hundred non-desk workers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.Monitor key performance indicators, address deviations, and ensure quality, timely delivery, and optimal output.Detect process anomalies promptly and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.Oversee facilities, processes, and product standards, conducting line inspections to ensure compliance.Champion HSE regulations and cultivate a safety-first culture.Coordinate training sessions to enhance employee awareness of company and local procedures.Work closely with other departments to ensure synergy and leverage technical expertise.Cooperate with the planning and scheduling team to review and address risks in the production plan.Who we are looking for?Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.Proficiency in Italian and English.At least 5 years of experience in production management.Results-driven with a strong ability to navigate a complex manufacturing environment.Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.Join us at Prysmian and be a part of a team that values innovation, quality, and safety.If you are passionate about leading production activities and driving continuous improvement, we would love to hear from youZero & Beyond is our mission: it's Prysmian's commitment to a Safety Culture rooted in the belief that life and health are paramount and everyone is responsible for leading safety improvements.Prysmian encourages its people to be accountable for their own safety and the safety of those around them, and to stop any unsafe acts: this involves understanding safety rules, leading by example, reinforcing safety expectations, influencing others to work safely, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and extending safety practices beyond the workplace into all aspects of life.Prysmian , as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
