Job Title: Software Development Leader Responsibilities Organize and lead software development activities ensuring QCD commitment, till the end of software developmentDefine the software functional requirements specifications and ensure that all the requirements can be verifiedEnsure the traceability of the software requirements through the development cycleDefine the software architecture and define the software development concept (development tools, methodology, coding strategy, …)Contribute to software integration, together with the software designersContribute to hardware/software integration, together with the hardware architectContribute to specify, design, prepare and perform tests and verifications of the softwareContribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by defining reusable solutions, including COTS*Apply and ensure application of processes and standardsContribute to continuous improvement (RoE: Return of Experience, process…)Contribute to the definition of the software configuration management plan together with the configuration manager.Contribute to the definition of the software quality plan together with the quality manager.Contribute to the definition of the software verification and validation plans together with other software architects and the V&V architects.Maintain and control KPIs for the project and report to S/W Domain Leader.Educational Requirements Master's degree or bachelor degree in the field of electronic or software engineering required.Experience Hands-on development experience of software phases like requirement gathering, software development, hardware-software integration etc (minimum of 2 years' experience in Railway or Automotive domain).High experience in software design and implementation for complex diagnostics data management systems.Managing work packages for sub-contractors.English: highly proficient in both spoken and written English.Ability to work efficiently in a team.Good communications and reporting capabilities.Open to change and to carry out new tasks.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Result oriented.You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
