We are hiring a postdoctoral researcher to join the PACES (Making migration and migration policy decisions amidst societal transformations) team at the University of Milan (UNIMI) in Milan, Italy.Apply via email : See application instructions belowApplication Deadline: June 24, 2024. Shortlisted candidates will meet online with the project team on 08/07/2024.PACES is a research programme (2023-2026) funded by the European Union's Horizon2020 scheme. The project investigates the factors shaping migration decision making and the theories of change underpinning migration policies. The PACES research consortium is led by the International Institute of Social Statues and brings together 11 partners and 3 associated partners including: the University of Leiden, University of Amsterdam, the University of Manchester and Duke University. More information about PACES is here .The postdoc will collaborate with other PACES members in the following main task areas :design a cross-national conjoint experiment about public opinion about migration in six European countriesanalyze original survey experiment and write scientific articles for international peer reviewed journalsParticipate in project activities as a PACES team memberIMPORTANT JOB INFORMATION Location: Milan, Italy (remote work negotiable)Language requirement: English (Italian is NOT necessary)Expected salary range: approximately 2000 EUR per month after taxes (annual 24.061 EUR)Duration: 18 monthsRelevant candidate expertise : statistical analysis, regression analysis, knowledge of statistical software (R/STATA).
