This is a key role ensuring successful implementation and enforcement of the defined global commodity strategies, plans, and vision, maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with site teams and external suppliers.
Manage, maintain and approach vendors with appropriate contracts/price frameworks with guidance from both the Regional Sourcing Manager and the Global Commodity Managers.Reporting to the Regional Sourcing Manager, you will be working as part of a large team who support Operation and Service functions.
In this role, you will define, manage, and maintain appropriate sets of vendors with contracts/price frameworks.
You will manage all supplier price changes and supplier price amendment requests.
You will be responsible for the full understanding of the key supplier performance metrics and supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) as required.Work closely with the local plant Global Supply Chain Team to understand key operations performance metrics for the plant and ensure balanced sourcing decisions are taken considering all cost elements.This role would suit a strong negotiator who is able to communicate at all levels, demonstrating interpersonal skills, ensuring effective risk monitoring, building relationships, and using tools to flag high risks.Qualifications Experience Requirements:5+ years Procurement related experience including supplier contract developmentStrong sourcing background with evidence of strategy developmentHas worked within a manufacturing environmentFamiliar with MRP systems i.E., D365, SAP, OracleRelevant industry experience (desirable)The Successful Candidate:Is focused on delivering set objectives and goalsHas strong communication and presentation skillsHas strong negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skillsFluent in English and ItalianAdditional Information Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow of liquids, gases, and powders across many industries worldwide.Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.For over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
