Quality ManagerJob Location: ChicagoWant to make an impact?The Quality Manager provides leadership, direction, and oversight to the plant for quality and food safety. This role exists to ensure the plant delivers the required standards of quality and food safety according to Ferrara policies, procedures, and practices. The Quality Manager is also responsible for implementing and monitoring quality activities related to commercial logistics and points of sales quality.
Ways you will make a differenceResponsible for holistic warehouse quality and food safety program direction and resultsDirect the quality activities of the assigned plant/distribution siteManages all Quality personnelInvestigates, acts, and resolves customer quality issues at all assigned locationsDevelops and Manages quality KPI objectivesProvides Quality and Food Safety trainingImplements product traceability improvementsManages housekeeping improvements and inspection methodsSkills that will make you successfulStrong leadership, coaching and mentoring skillsAuditing and assessment skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of food laws and regulationsUnderstanding of basic food safety principlesExperiences that will support your successBachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Quality related fieldMinimum 5 years management experienceExperience in food industry/CPG strongly preferredHACCP CertificationFerrara's success in industry-leading innovation has been driven by deep consumer insights, strong retailer co-creation and partnerships, and a dedication to diversity of thought, experience, and people.
