We have a wonderful opportunity to join our team as Warehouse Engineer, whose mission will be to further uplift our warehouse operations with the aim to maximize customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your contributions will result in solutions to create lasting results.
You will assess current procedures and implement new or enhanced initiatives to optimize activities. The Warehouse Engineer will play a key role in developing state-of-the-art logistics with a recently launched warehouse management system in SAP. You operate at the heart of our operations, with happy customers and a passionate team as the ultimate success factor. Therefore, you continuously monitor the system, coupled with swift interventions to rectify errors and to enhance the performance.
In concrete, you will support and take accountability for the optimizations of our warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, put-away, picking, staging, loading, internal kitting and cycle count. Your role involves crafting and executing initiatives to maximize efficiency across these functions. You will ensure that standard procedures remain finely tuned and up-to-date, with a keen focus on warehouse bin grid set-up, product master information, wave releases of tasks, and more. The warehouse cockpit will be your daily companion.

To be successful in this role, close collaboration and communication with the operators and other departments is crucial to understand the effectiveness of opportunities and challenges. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills. You are a structural problem solver, and are recognized as an inspiring and reliable colleague, who feels comfortable with a high level of autonomy in a diverse working environment.
The ideal candidate has a profound knowledge of SAP, and masters English well in an international context we are operating in.
