Do you enjoy being part of a successful workshop team?Are you interested in working in our Manufacturing Centre of Excellence?Baker Hughes is seeking a Workshop OperatorOur team performs all turning and grinding activities on every rotor produced in our Florence workshop, including gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and steam turbines.Partner with the bestDeveloping manufacturing technology, new products, and systems.
Set up, monitor, and operate various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
This may include the operation of multiple machines at one time and could also involve repair.
May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.As a Workshop Operator, you will be responsible for:Carrying on machining activitiesBeing a HSE promoterHelping other colleagues in lifting activitiesPerforming program testingFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Be a good team player and a proactive self-starter that is accountable and exhibits ownershipDemonstrate substantial experience in turning or grinding activitiesAble to demonstrate ability in measuring itemsBe a promoter of continuous improvementBe flexible with working patterns and shift rotations, including nightsWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
