Medical Affairs Scientist Oncology - Hematology - Maternity Leave Replacement Pfizer is hiring a Passionate, Talented, Innovative Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) in Oncology Medical Affairs Department for a maternity leave replacement.The hiring of the MAS Oncology, Hematology fits the iTALent purpose, providing a rare growth and development opportunity to lead scientific innovation in our Oncology Therapeutic Areas.The MAS Oncology, Hematology will report to the MAS Line Manager Oncology, Hematology.Why Patients Need You The MAS Oncology, Hematology is an integral member of the Italy Oncology Medical Affairs organization. The Oncology department has the responsibility to maximize the existing in-line portfolio offering the scientific expertise and excellence while positioning Pfizer as Oncology category leader also through an exciting and promising pipeline.Will join the Italy Oncology Medical Team and will be responsible for Hematology TA in Italy.Will have direct relationships with healthcare professionals and research centers focused on increasing quality of partnerships to share the common final objective: patient's health improvement.Key Experience Offer of this Role The candidate will acquire experience in:Leading the conversation to positively influence the external environment and help the patients with hematologic cancersDeveloping local medical strategyTransforming our "go to market model": act as critical change agent leveraging on medical and scientific capabilities to lead acceleration of new capabilities, including digital and multi-channel medical.Primary Responsibilities Maintaining the highest scientific standards during in/external activities to provide deep medical and scientific expertise.Establish a strong collaborative scientific relationship with relevant stakeholders in the assigned area (KOLs, medical societies, and other relevant internal/external stakeholders).Integrate customer medical insights into the country medical and brand strategy, provide medical and scientific strategic support to the regional medical team, medical leadership to the country brand team, country and / or local XFTs, drive implementation of the country medical plan.Contribute to the implementation of local medical strategies and life cycle clinical plans for Oncology medicine.Provide scientific and medical data to leading health professionals and decision-makers to ensure safe, proper, and effective uses of assigned products, contributing to patients (and populations) health and well-being.Observe compliance rules, ensuring activities and communications are conducted in compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulation and ensure the respect of medical independence.What You Offer Medicine degree is requiredSpecialty training or PhD (Hematology or Oncology strongly preferred), academic experience or clinical experience are requiredPrevious experience in a pharmaceutical company is a plusExperience in conducting clinical research activities is strongly preferredKnowledge of clinical development processesGeneral knowledge in the relevant Therapeutic Area is preferredFluent English in addition to local languageExcellent communication and public speaking skillsAdherence to Pfizer Values: Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy.Other Job Details Contract Type: Maternity Leave ReplacementRelocation Package Available: NoFlexible working, welfare, medical insuranceWork Location Assignment:Remote - Field basedPurposeBreakthroughs that change patients' lives ...
