Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Physician Assistant is responsible for primary care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices.
Responsibilities/Duties: Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.Interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures needed.Performs a complete physical exam and records findings. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.Synthesizes data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.Administers medication and injections according to physician direction.Maintains and reviews patients records, charts and other pertinent information.Triages patient telephone calls and provides consultation.Performs other related duties as requested by the Clinical Manager.Education and/or Experience: Graduate of an accredited school, Physicians Assistant programWomen's health / OB experience is preferredStrong written and interpersonal communication skillsWhat we offer you Outstanding benefits including health, vision and dental packages, including HSA/FSA, Life and Disability Insurance18 days of accrued PTO in addition to 11 paid holidaysFertility benefits401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramContinuing Education ReimbursementWellness ProgramWe provide a great, family work environment with internal growth opportunities
