Bachelor's degree in information systems, data analytics, data management, or a similar fieldCertified in Project Management (PM) Experience Required Minimum of ten (10) years of project management experienceMinimum of five (5) years of experience in facilitating success in establishing data standards, data management, and leading the technical and human aspects of data-related projects.The educational and PM certification requirements may be accomplished by having at least five (5) years of direct experience in planning, executing, and implementing projects, and managing stakeholders. Job Objective The Data Standards Lead will support the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) with its core mission including the advancement of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Data Strategy.
Responsibilities Responsible for leading the overall efforts to expand the development, implementation, and maintenance of data standards across the Agency's current and future systemsIdentifying key strategies, developing, and presenting recommendation packages including impact assessments, liaising with external offices as needed, implementing the approved data standards, and developing monitoring and reporting capabilities.
