Project Buyer

We are looking for a Project Buyer inside the Purchasing Function of the Marelli Automotive Lighting plant of Tolmezzo (UD),
who will be responsible for the following activities:
- Manage all the activities needed to individuate and share the right Supplier for all the new projects, acting on the basis of defined TC/TP;
- Work closely with the Project Managers inside the new project team and interact with all the Plant and Corporate Functions.
He/She will report hierarchically to the Purchasing Manager of EMEA and functionally to the Plant Purchasing Manager of Tolmezzo.
- Support for BOM management, identify critical parts and propose technical solutions in Project Team;
- Responsible for cost estimation in RQA phase for buy parts - supporting Cost Dept.

- Support project technical definition and "make or buy" Plant strategy;
- Straight link with SQA/SDE organization till Project Release to Project SOP;
- Straight link with Plant Family Buyers to share experiences, best practice and solution according to Plant strategy;
- Coordinating, as Functional Project Leader, PUR key figures involved in Project lifecycle till SOP (Capex buyer / Opex buyer / Electronics Team);
- Define, together with Corporate Commodity Specialists, strategies for RFQ, Supplier Panel and new business awarding, find bundle opportunities;
- Negotiate part prices, investments, services, timing milestones and bonus agreement with Suppliers involved in RFQ phase;
- Nomination of suppliers through Magneti Marelli Sourcing Committee approval;
- Report at Plant and Corporate Level.
**Requirements**:
EDUCATION: Master degree /Bachelor Engineering Degree; preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years in the Purchasing department with negotiation tasks, inside medium or large manufacturing companies;
LANGUAGES: fluent knowledge of English, both oral and written.

- Technical drawing;
- Cost breakdown analysis;
- Evaluation of offers and strong negotiation skills;
- Development of sourcing strategies and techniques of suppliers selection;
