Our precision-manufactured components are also used for defense, med tech, and heavy industry purposes around the world, in large part because of the people behind our products .We're seeking an Engineering Technician t o join our fast-paced Engineering team in Naples,FL.If you have a passion for customer success, and want to grow with a dynamic company that offers opportunities to reach your full potential, we want to hear from you.JOB SUMMARY:Working with the VP of Engineering, responsible for performing general and specific administrative support tasks involved in the engineering environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Update and maintain all master drawings and other related documentation.Maintain and create part numbers and specification (Part maintenance)Maintain and creates all BOMs (Bill of Materials)Prepare and process ECNs (Engineering Change Notices)Maintain and review raw material specifications.Review raw material certifications.QPL registration review (Qualified Products List) for DLAMaintain records for Military Standards and Customer SpecificationsMaintain Machine and Tool Instruction ManualsDesign customer dies for their production.Internal AuditorDetermines and reviews all manufacturing processes for cost analysis.Works with VP of Engineering in preparation of requested changes or corrections to the MS Standards.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:As assigned by the Vice President of Engineering.4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Advanced computer skills to include SolidWorks.Attention to details, decision making, problem solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instructions, adhere to prescribed routines and practices, maintain records, and to make reports requiring accuracy.Ability to work well with and to assist other departments.Knowledge of production resources and processes.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years experience.CAD/CAM Training.Loos and Co is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
