Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 40m yacht.
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer for a 40m motor yacht. The ideal candidate must hold a Y3 ticket and have experience with Italian-built vessels, as the yacht will be undergoing warranty work in Italy this winter.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all engineering operations onboard Conduct routine maintenance and repairs Work closely with the deck/assistant engineer Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Warranty work Requirements: Y3 ticket Experience as a sole engineer Italian build experience is a plus Charter experience beneficial Ideally someone based in or close to Puerto Banus (not essential) Start date: ASAP
Location: Livorno-Puerto Banus
Salary: EUR 7000
Leave: 60 days with 2 round flights
The vessel is based in Puerto Banus, this year in Livorno for Warranty Work.
Private - Weekend local trips with the owner.
