col-wideJob Description:Our Finance team is looking to be supported by a reliable Accountant to manage the day to day running of the Accounts Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who loves music, enjoys a variety of duties and is willing to work as part of a team to progress in Finance.Your missions are:Set up and maintain New AccountsCode and process Purchase Invoices/Credit NotesPrepare Payments ListPost Bank transactions and match to invoicesPost Credit Card TransactionRun detailed Creditors report and reconcile AccountsPrepare and post staff expenses reportSet up and maintain New AccountsCode and process Sales Invoices/Credit NotesPost Bank transactions and match to invoicesRun detailed Debtors report and reconcile AccountsMonthly RoutinePerform Bank + Credit Card ReconciliationAssist in management of expenses by projectProcess Journals entries for Accruals/PrepaymentsProcess Journals for possible mis-posted transactionManage and process Cash transactions and reconcileEntering postings following central team requestsBooking of Fixed Assets and DepreciationAssist with reconciling P & L accountsManage / Assist in monthly closing processesVAT liquidation and proper maintenance of VAT registersCollaborate with Tax consultant for monthly / quarterly declarations (i.e. Intrastat / Quarterly VAT declarations)Prepare needed SDI documentation (i.e. monthly xml uploads)Prepare Intercompany reconciliationsPrepare centrally driven dedicated reportingYear End RoutineAssist with final reconciliation and adjustments to all accountsAssist with preparation of schedules for Year End AuditManage Journals, Vat register, Social Company Books review, printout and archiveOthersComplete and submit monthly, quarterly and annual statistical surveys in line with the GroupEnsure that all necessary supporting accounting documents are requested, collected, and compiled, archivedChecks correctness of admin contracts in compliance with internal compliance, commercial conditions and local legislationCollaborate with central IS team to ensure improvements on the ERP software to better comply to local tax and accounting rules (i.e. for VAT registers, xml files for SDI)Collaborate with central IS team to ensure improvements on the management of expense refunds (new tool development);Be accountant for checks, reports, needed uploads, on the internal distribution tools with focus on physical distribution and neighboring rights (after dedicated training)Collaborate with internal functions to monitor cash forecast and payment processesCollaborate with central functions and finance manager for other finance tool implementations, dedicated reportingAny other ad-hoc dutiesQualifications At least 3 years working experience within an Accounting DepartmentAble to work autonomously but with the support of the Finance Manager if neededStrong time management skills with ability to meet deadlinesHave a flexible approach to change and work proactively to develop processesProficiency on ExcelBe able to communicate with different stakeholdersTeam player with a willingness to support others to achieve company goalsAdditional Information Working at Believe means having individual and collective impact in a fast-growing companyAt all stages of their careers, Believers are an important part of what we are doing: shaping the future of the music industry.We need teams that truly reflect the diversity of our clients: our international presence is an inspiring and enriching work environment for each one of us, with daily opportunities to connect with our colleagues all over the world.We have two hearts at Believe – our People and our Artists.We believe in THE POWER OF OUR PEOPLE, who grow every day to develop their potential...
