About the Position:
Leghorn Army Depot/Camp Darby only has local community health care available on a pay as you go basis. We recommend that you contact your health insurer to ensure they will cover you in Italy. Camp Darby has one school for children in grades K through 8. Grades 9-12 are serviced through International School of Florence (ISF) on a space available basis and strict admission standards (ISF is 1.5 hrs away and bus transportation is not available). Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service with the responsibility to plan, direct, coordinate, evaluate and organize comprehensive logistics programs in support of contingency operations and policies associated with theater security cooperation.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
