The Role: Senior SAP Payroll Consultant The Global PY department is responsible for:
Technical maintenance of outsourced SAP HR solutions of our clients, module SAP PY;Modification of the solution after delivery to correct possible faults, to improve performance or other attributes and to adapt the product to a modified environment;Stabilize, optimize, and extend the applications so that functionality continues to meet the clients' changing needs.The SAP PY Consultant is a member of the Global PY department. His role is to provide appropriate application maintenance consultancy to Alight outsourced clients through advice, guidance, technical support and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities: Integrated into the Global PY department and under the supervision of a Team Manager, as a Senior PY Consultant you will be involved in the support of our outsourced clients as follows:
Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate technical activities;Manage tickets after having received functional analysis and guidance / coaching on the technical way to implement it;Generate easy-to-maintain bug free code and customizing respecting NGA best practices;Operate required system tests using either provided or self-generated test data, to ensure the applications/developments meet the agreed specifications;Provide documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handled;Manage personal daily priorities and assigned tickets, and ensure that his deadlines are met;Regularly report on status and progress to the AMO Team Manager;Maintain internal and external contact and communication channels at appropriate level. Communicate status, resolution, and root cause of assigned issues;Understand the general flows in HR and the SAP HR architecture.Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Strong interest in delivering high quality support in the field of Human Resources;Ability to multi-task, to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment, and to consistently achieve quality standards;Service-oriented with a strong client focus and sense of accountability;Be committed to the customer, the team and the project;Strong analytical and problem solving skills;Understand the architecture of a SAP HR solution and good knowledge of SAP HR Payroll module;Ability to translate functional description in technical solution;Experience in application maintenance is an asset.You have: 7 or 8 years of experience in SAP HR Payroll modulesGood verbal and written communication skills in English, ItalianFlexible Working So that you can be your best at work and home, we consider flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
